Suzanne Knosp, pianist and Assistant Professor of Dance/Music Director for Dance at the University of Arizona, composed this wonderful spiral bound book of pieces for the ballet class.
The book is especially (and wonderfully) heavy on the 3/4's. The adagios and waltzes could not be more helpful. Waltzes are even more specific — lyrical waltzes, bright waltzes, big waltz, grand allegro waltz. Written in the classical style, they suit the ballet class so perfectly. Also included are polkas, gallop, ragtime, tango, mazurka, and more. 66 pieces in all.
