The "Solo" music book is an outstanding collection of music for ballet class; it is the printed music from the "Solo" CD for ballet class. The pieces are exceptionally long with wide varieties of rhythms, including waltzes, adagios in different time signatures, and are pieces from classical piano, ballets, opera, and art songs. None of the pieces are ordinary. I did some digging to add pieces that are new and different. The Albeniz tango is quite wonderful, as are the pieces from the Verdi opera "Jerusalem". Russian teachers agree that the waltzes in the collection are just right for their classes. Teachers from all over the world approve of these selections!
