A recording for anybody teaching children to move to music; it is not only for pre-ballet, but pre-school and day care situations. Many concepts are introduced including each child finding his space on the "Mark" with music of chimes. Seated exercises follow, and next music for poses (strike a pose!). A great section of music to learn to count in various time signatures, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4. Across the floor with skipping, polka, and kicks. All children love to sing and this recording has piano accompaniment for some all time favorites: ABC's, If You're Happy and You Know It, B-I-N-G-O, etc. (There are no vocals on this recording) A section for story telling using original and classical music ends the class. And finally, Happy Birthday, for those who teach many children, this song will always be on hand. A birthday freeze dance ends the shebang! The most fun is hearing alarm clocks, tick-tocks, sleigh bells, and train whistles along the way!
